We don't deserve it, but we got it.

Luke 11:13
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for him.

I think this verse forces us to acknowledge that we are undeserving of any gift from God. Yet He has abundant grace for us!

In other words, are we proud of our walk of faith? Make no mistake, its not good enough. However, we are ever thankful that His grace trumps over our inabilities!

The second part of the verse says that if we ask, He will give us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Have you ever asked yourself; What's in this gift?

In the gift of the Holy Spirit we have Johovah Rohi (PSA 23:1) our sheppard who guides us. We have Jehovah Rapha (EX 31:13) who heal us. And we have Jehovah Jireh (GEN 22:13,14) our provider who gives us everything we need to do His purpose.

So, we don't deserve it, but we got it, so let's not waste it!
